OncoveryCare has secured $4.5 million seed financing to launch its innovative cancer survivorship care model.

Led by .406 Ventures and the McKay Institute for Oncology Transformation at Tennessee Oncology, the round also included Oncology Ventures and Techstars. OncoveryCare announced a partnership with Tennessee Oncology, which treats half of Tennessee’s cancer patients and is a founding member of OneOncology.

The U.S. cancer survivor population is expected to double by 2030, highlighting the need for comprehensive survivorship care. OncoveryCare addresses gaps in the current fragmented and unstructured survivorship care system, which often leads to high costs and poor outcomes. The company’s virtual care model provides cancer survivors with a wraparound care team focusing on toxicity management, mental health support, navigation, care planning, and preventative care.

Partnering with Tennessee Oncology’s McKay Institute, OncoveryCare aims to scale its intervention across Tennessee and eventually to the broader oncology community.
